The Field Marketing Specialist (FMS) reports to the Manager of Field Marketing and assists the Field Marketing Manager (FMM) in establishing Red Bull as the leading brand in their region. The FMS serves as the representative of Red Bull in their local market, aligning their efforts with global and national strategies and priorities in the most relevant manner.
Key responsibilities include building valuable local insights by building strong networks within specific communities and environments, including key local creators. The FMS contributes input to the development and execution of innovative marketing initiatives that address local needs and characteristics across the four pillars of the marketing mix: Consumer Collecting, Sports, Culture, and Communications. Additionally, they leverage both On Premise and Off Premise channels.

CONSUMER COLLECTING PROGRAM MANAGEMENT
Establish clear objectives with the Consumer Collecting Manager (CCM) and Field Marketing Manager (FMM) to conduct trials that effectively engage new users and expand the consumer base both on and off campus within your region. Clearly articulate expectations and guidelines for Student Marketeers, enabling them to efficiently plan and execute trial‑driving strategies in the market and integrate them into student life during critical moments and consumption occasions. Develop and maintain a robust sales support program aimed at improving product distribution, fostering excitement among trade partners, and enhancing in‑store visibility on and around university campuses. Collaborate with your team to design appealing and relevant university initiatives that strengthen brand presence and cultivate brand loyalty among students. Leverage program tools and reporting features to ensure the program targets the right student demographics, tracks performance effectively, and identifies opportunities to reach new consumers, thereby enabling smarter program execution. Provide coaching and empower team members during the planning process to encourage an ongoing flow of innovative mission ideas for expanding the user base. Manage sampling requests both internally and externally, ensuring alignment with overall program priorities. Recruit and hire Student Marketeers who align perfectly with the brand and possess the necessary skills and attitude to support all business priorities. Ensure consistency by implementing and maintaining national recruitment, onboarding, and training procedures. Provide training and leadership to Student Marketeers through an empowerment‑focused approach, enabling them to take ownership of their individual targets that contribute to business success. Offer growth opportunities to top‑performing Student Marketeers for further development. Effectively lead and manage a robust Team Leader program. PREMIUM APPEAL OF LOCAL PRIDE
Develop and support key events, activities, and marketing initiatives that align with Red Bull’s brand values and resonate with the local audience, both within the market and on university campuses, with a strong emphasis on encouraging participation. Assist in executing a balanced program that incorporates third‑party event collaborations within relevant sports and cultural contexts, both on campus and within the broader community. Identify local opinion leaders at the collegiate and market levels within Red Bull’s core scenes, and collaborate with the Field Marketing Manager (FMM) to introduce them to the World of Red Bull. Play a key role in the successful implementation of national and global events and projects, ensuring they are executed with excellence. Integrate Indirect Sampling initiatives into the strategy to expand reach in less accessible occasions, enabling opportunities to surprise and delight consumers. Activate national brand pillars, major events, and global campaigns in and around university environments, ensuring alignment with overarching program goals. MARKETING INNOVATION
Collaborate closely with the Field Marketing Manager (FMM) to develop, implement, and oversee locally relevant ideas that complement the activation of global and national initiatives. Engage the Consumer Collecting team in brainstorming sessions to generate field‑specific ideas, leveraging their personal university lifestyle to identify emerging consumer trends driven by technology, digital platforms, and social behaviors. Lead creative sessions with Student Marketeers to ensure a consistent flow of innovative ideas that foster loyalty within the student demographic (e.g., conducting focus groups). Develop a deep understanding of the consumer landscape and determine effective strategies to engage and reach diverse consumers across various consumption occasions, using both direct and indirect sampling methods.
