Clark Nexsen, a JMT Company is seeking a Marketing Coordinator to join our team of Marketing, Communications, and Business Development professionals. This role offers the opportunity to contribute to a wide range of creative and strategic efforts across our vertical and horizontal market sectors.

The ideal Marketing Coordinator is naturally curious, gaining valuable insights about the A/E/C industry, and is flexible, creative, and a strong writer and editor with a well‑developed graphic eye. You must be able to shift priorities frequently while maintaining attention to detail and achieving high quality standards. You should prioritize effectively, multi‑task efficiently, and function collaboratively as part of a team under multiple deadlines. You will manage your workload and time efficiently in a fast‑paced environment while demonstrating an enthusiastic "can do" attitude.

General Responsibilities

Support and assist with capture planning, proposal development, and market research efforts The CRM database of opportunities, projects, clients, contacts, and campaigns should be maintained.

Create, edit, and maintain well‑written and graphically sophisticated marketing materials—including proposals (general and SF330 formats), statements of qualifications, award submittals, white papers, presentations, and marketing collateral—while ensuring strategy, compliance, and grammar are adhered to.

Review materials for strategy, compliance, and grammar, and provide production, assembly, and delivery support of marketing materials.

Collaborate with marketing, communications, business development, and technical teams to develop market‑specific content for web, email, social media, news, and blogs.

Create and maintain up‑to‑date project descriptions, personnel resumes, and more by interviewing staff, drafting content, collecting photography, and ensuring technical accuracy across all materials.

Represent the marketing department internally and externally through professional organizations and teaming partnerships.

Coordinate and support outreach activities including client events, industry tradeshows, conferences, and other public relations initiatives.

Order and track inventory of proposal supplies and promotional items.

Required Experience

Associates or Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Communications, English, Journalism, Creative Writing, Business, or a related field with 1‑3 years of relevant experience recommended.

Without a degree, 2‑5 years of professional or internship experience in the A/E/C industry required.

Certified Professional Services Marketer (CPSM) credentials may be given additional consideration.

Prior professional or internship experience in a related marketing, business development, or public relations role within the A/E/C industry is an additional consideration.

Experience in the development of A/E/C proposals, including experience with SF330, Virginia AE, or SF254/255 formats, is an additional consideration.

Strong command of industry‑standard design and business applications: Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Acrobat), Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook), CRM platforms like Microsoft Dynamics, and digital asset management systems such as Open Asset is a plus.

Working Conditions At JMT, we prioritize a healthy work/life balance and offer a flexible hybrid working schedule. The selected candidate is expected to work in a JMT office location at least three days per week or as needed to perform assigned duties. While most work is desk‑based, occasional standing, walking, bending, and lifting of minimal weight may be required. Our office environment is comfortable, has adequate lighting and temperature, and is free from noise, dust, and other hazards.
