Company You’ll Join Flerish is an emerging startup in the CPG beverage industry, focused on creating a better-for-you hydration drink with a youthful, digitally native brand identity. As we continue to grow, we are looking for a highly driven and hands‑on Social Media Marketing Manager to join our team.
The Team You’ll Work With In this role, you will work closely with the CEO, Founder, Head of Strategy, and Creative Directors to bring creative visions to life and execute our daily marketing operations. This role is critical in supporting Flerish’s brand presence by translating creative concepts into action. As a key member of a collaborative startup team, you’ll be instrumental in establishing a culture of high performance and responsiveness.
Job Description This is a fully remote role but you need to live in LA as most of the team is in Los Angeles. Additionally, you will need to attend company offsites and events. As the Marketing Operations Manager, you’ll focus heavily on executing content and social media initiatives, working in daily close collaboration with Creative Directors to bring marketing ideas to action and maximize their impact.
Key Responsibilities Social Media Growth & Content Expertise
Proven track record in TikTok growth, viral campaigns, skit production, and humorous content that drives follower growth and engagement.
Skilled in Instagram strategy, organic growth, and high‑engagement content creation, including Reels, feed posts, story campaigns, and creative skit‑based activations.
Expert in social media ideation with the ability to consistently generate fresh, innovative content concepts tailored to platform trends.
High Frequency Social Media Posting
Post daily, without exception, across all social media platforms to ensure a consistent and visible brand presence.
Create, publish, and manage content that aligns with platform‑specific best practices.
Monitor accounts every day to engage with followers, respond to comments, and track performance.
Must have editing ability (video, photo, copy) to ensure content is polished and on‑brand before posting.
Creative and Content Collaboration
Conduct daily calls with the creative team to align on ideas, directions, and priorities.
Execute content ideas with precision and operational focus, ensuring quality and timeliness.
Manage a team of freelance designers, editors, and creators, keeping projects on schedule.
Collaborate on and occasionally originate your own content concepts to keep the feed fresh and dynamic.
Content Production and Calendar Management
Build and maintain a daily content calendar, flexible enough to adapt to startup speed and real‑time trends.
Produce, adapt, and publish content that reflects internet culture and audience engagement patterns.
Demonstrate hands‑on expertise in production, ensuring content remains relevant, engaging, and true to brand standards.
Trend Analysis & Execution
Stay up‑to‑date with social trends, styles, and memes, and translate them into brand‑appropriate content.
Rapidly adjust posting strategies to maximize engagement and visibility based on digital trends.
Highly Execution‑Focused Role with Startup Agility
Thrive in a role that requires daily execution and attention to detail, recognizing the constant demands of a fast‑moving startup.
Balance creativity with the rigor of daily posting and operational excellence.

Marketing Event Execution
Develop creative event concepts that showcase and amplify the brand.
Coordinate and manage on‑site staff or temporary event support as needed.
Travel to Flerish events as required and capture high‑quality content for social media.
Minimum Qualifications
Applicants must have experience in the CPG beverage industry.
Proven track record of posting daily content across multiple platforms.
Proficiency in social media management and basic editing (video, image, copy).
Strong organizational skills to juggle multiple accounts, content calendars, and real‑time demands.
Experience in digital marketing and social media operations, ideally within the CPG or beverage sector.
Ability to thrive in a high‑paced, constantly evolving environment.
Education
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field is preferred.
