Role Overview

The Trade Marketing Manager is responsible for executing Cann’s national and regional trade marketing plans with a focus on point-of-sale (POS) excellence, vendor coordination, and in-market execution. This role ensures national brand strategy is translated into consistent, compliant retail execution. This is a hands‑on execution role focused on delivering displays, managing POS, aligning vendors, and supporting sales teams. Core Responsibilities

POS Strategy, Management & Execution

Own end-to-end POS planning, ordering, distribution, and execution across priority accounts and markets Manage POS calendars tied to launches, resets, promotions, and seasonal programs Partner with Sales to establish POS goals by account and track execution Ensure POS materials align with Cann brand standards and retailer requirements Conduct post-program recaps to assess execution and performance Vendor & Agency Alignment

Serve as day‑to‑day lead for POS vendors, printers, fulfillment, and promotional agencies Manage timelines, budgets, proofs, and delivery schedules Maintain vendor pricing discipline and performance standards Ensure vendors understand brand guidelines and retail specifications Trade Plan Execution

Execute national trade programs in partnership with Sales, Marketing, and Distributors Support key retail accounts with account‑specific POS and trade needs Coordinate distributor funding and deployment of trade initiatives Ensure compliant, consistent execution across markets Cross-Functional Coordination

Partner with Sales to support selling stories and retail priorities Work with Marketing to adapt national campaigns for retail execution Attend sales, distributor, and key account meetings as needed Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or Communications 4–5 years experience in trade, shopper, or field marketing (CPG or beverage preferred) Proven POS and vendor management experience Strong organizational and execution skills Ability to operate in a fast‑paced environment What Success Looks Like
