Clark Nexsen is seeking a Marketing Coordinator to join our collaborative Marketing, Communications, and Business Development team. The role involves creative and strategic efforts across both vertical and horizontal market sectors, requiring strong writing, editing, graphic design, and project management skills.
Responsibilities
Support capture planning, proposal development, and market research.
Assist with proposal development and proposal capture support.
Maintain a CRM database of opportunities, projects, clients, contacts, and campaigns.
Create, edit, and maintain well-written and graphically sophisticated marketing materials within a cohesive strategy.
Develop proposals (general and SF330 formats), statements of qualifications, award submittals, white papers, presentations, and marketing collateral.
Review materials for strategy, compliance, and grammar.
Provide production, assembly, and delivery support of marketing materials.
Collaborate with marketing, communications, business development, and technical teams to create market‑specific content.
Develop content for web, email, social media, news, and blogs.
Interview staff, draft content, collect photography, and ensure technical accuracy across all materials.
Act as a brand ambassador internally and externally.
Represent the marketing department within professional organizations and teaming partnerships.
Coordinate and support outreach activities including client events, industry tradeshows, and conferences.
Order and track inventory of proposal supplies and promotional items.

Required Experience
Associate or Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Communications, English, Journalism, Creative Writing, Business, or a related field with 1–3 years of relevant experience.
Without a degree, 2–5 years of professional or internship experience in the A/E/C industry.
Certified Professional Services Marketer (CPSM) credentials are an additional consideration.
Prior experience in marketing, business development, or public relations within the A/E/C industry.
Experience developing A/E/C proposals, including SF330, Virginia AE, or SF254/255 formats.
Strong command of Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Acrobat), Microsoft Office, and CRM platforms such as Microsoft Dynamics.
Experience with digital asset management systems such as Open Asset is a plus.
Working Conditions At JMT, we prioritize a healthy work/life balance with a flexible hybrid working schedule. The selected candidate is expected to work in a JMT office location at least three days per week or as needed to perform assigned duties. While most work is desk‑based, occasional standing, walking, bending, and lifting of minimal weight may be required. Our office environment is comfortable, well‑lit, temperature‑controlled, and free from noise, dust, and other hazards.
