Sr Manager, Sports Social Media (Paramount+) Department

The Sr Social Media Manager leads the day‑to‑day planning and execution of sports campaigns across Paramount+’s digital ecosystem, collaborating closely with Sports Marketing, video, design, and PR teams. Responsibilities
Craft and execute data‑driven social content strategies across platforms (Facebook, X, Instagram, TikTok, YouTube). Manage an ongoing pipeline of social content projects, collaborating with internal and external creative teams to develop bespoke social assets. Plan and schedule campaign assets according to existing channel strategies. Pitch new sports‑themed social content ideas and lead campaigns from ideation to execution. Refine and optimize content and formats using social insights and data. Track social KPIs, create recap reports, and present findings to executives and stakeholders. Collaborate with Paramount+ teams across video, design, sports marketing, and PR to ensure best practices in all assets. Represent the Paramount+ social team in meetings with brand social teams across Paramount Global. Supervise social media coordinators and develop training & growth plans. Analyze competitor strategies, industry trends, and new product features to keep Paramount+ ahead. Qualifications
B.S./B.A. or equivalent work experience. 5‑7+ years producing custom social content and managing brand social accounts, preferably in entertainment. Expert project management skills with ability to meet tight timelines and adjust strategies. Experience creating visuals and videos optimized for sharing. Deep understanding of publishing on various social platforms and end‑user experience. Detail‑oriented with excellent grammar and consistency in voice. Passionate about sports (NFL, soccer, combat sports) and pop culture. Excellent communication skills and ability to articulate concepts to all management levels. Ability to synthesize audience data to develop content quickly against social trends. Inclusive, collaborative thought‑leader committed to fostering an inclusive work environment. Must be able to provide samples of prior work. Must be regularly available to work evenings and/or weekends to cover live sporting events. Preferred
Direct supervision of social media professionals. Previous entertainment or sports experience. Previous agency experience. Familiarity with social publishing tools (Sprout, Sprinklr, etc.).
