Outdoor Dimensions is hiring: Sign Designer in Anaheim

Outdoor Dimensions is looking for aSign Designer to join our creative production team. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment, translating client artwork into production-ready layouts, and supporting a variety of signage projects from concept through installation.

Key Responsibilities

• Open, prepare, and refine client-supplied artwork into accurate production-ready layouts
• Collaborate with sales and project managers to interpret design intent and incorporate revisions
• Ensure artwork meets all technical specifications for fabrication and installation
• Demonstrate working knowledge of sign materials, fabrication techniques, and installation methods
• Manage multiple projects with attention to deadlines, quality, and consistency
• Maintain organized digital files and version control for all active projects
• Attend company and departmental meetings as required
• Demonstrate commitment to company values and professional communication
• Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• 13 years of experience in sign design or production design required.
• Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator and related design software; knowledge of production file setup is essential
• Understanding of print and fabrication processes (routing, vinyl, illumination, etc.)is preferred.
• Excellent time management and organizational skills with the ability to handle a high-volume workload
• Strong attention to detail, spatial awareness, and problem-solving ability
• Professional communication skills and a collaborative working style

Education & Experience

• High school diploma required; Bachelors degree in Graphic Design, or a related field preferred.
• Equivalent hands-on experience in the sign or architectural graphics industry will be considered.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift and/or move up to 25 lbs occasionally
• Requires visual accuracy, including color and depth perception

Work Environment

This position operates in a design and production environment. The Sign Designer works closely with account executives, project managers, and fabrication teams to ensure accurate and timely execution of client projects.
