The Farmers South Bay District is looking to hire an Insurance Sales Producer to work under a seasoned professional agency owner. As a Farmers producer, you'll partner with one of the most trusted names in the insurance industry.

The ideal candidate will be comfortable in a sales environment, and able to deliver the highest level of customer service to our demanding client base. We sell property and casualty insurance to small and medium-sized businesses and their owners throughout Southern California.

Responsibilities
  • Demonstrate leadership and business development skills
  • Implement marketing strategies to identify and build the agency with new clientele
  • Establish and develop customer relationships, and actively follow up with clients
  • Provide prompt, accurate, and friendly customer service
  • Become proficient with products, services, and systems
  • Contribute to success by bringing in new business, cross-selling, and promoting new initiatives
  • Work with the agent to establish and meet marketing goals

Requirements
  • Current Property & Casualty and Life Insurance license or willing to obtain
  • Ability to obtain Series 6 & 63
  • 1 year sales experience or client-facing background preferred
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish/Chinese/Korean speaking) a plus
  • Proven track record of trustworthiness, dependability and ethical behavior
  • Must be coachable
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, etc.)
  • Able to collaborate in a team environment to ensure seamless customer experience
  • Confident self-starter who works well independently
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities
  • Ability to multi-task
  • Strong organizational skills
