Crown Staffing - Chicago Burbank is hiring: Graphic Designer in Chicago

Our client is looking for a Graphic Designer for their Chicago facility. 

This is a 5-month contract. 1st shift Monday-Friday 9am-5pm

Pay rate will be based on experience and range between $35-$43/hr 

Graphic Designer provides support and solves straightforward problems in a range of design projects. Works within defined processes and procedures to develop design standards and concepts for University advertising and communications materials. 

Responsibilities for a Graphic Designer

-Advance the University brand through creative, audience-focused graphic design across print and digital platforms.

-Design and produce marketing materials including brochures, event branding, websites, social media assets, and direct-response campaigns using Adobe Creative Suite.

-Lead conceptual and visual direction for ARD campaigns aligned with partner goals and brand standards.

-Collaborate with cross-functional teams to prioritize projects and deliver high-quality, on-brand solutions.

-Manage vendor relationships and coordinate production schedules to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery.

-Contribute to creative critiques, support a positive team environment, and serve as a resource for colleagues.

- Performs other related work as needed.

Requirements for Graphic Designer:

-Transition and organize foundational departmental materials from The Tank to SharePoint, ensuring consistent naming conventions and accessible file structures.

-Audit, update, and format departmental documents, policies, and operating guides.

-Provide pre- and post-recruitment support for Residence Life staff (RAs, RHs, CDs, RDs, ADRLs).

-Support scheduling, logistics, and event setup for Residence Life initiatives, Dean’s events, and student engagement programs.

-Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in a related field and 2–5 years of relevant professional experience.
