About the Company
BaseCamp Franchising is seeking a talented Graphic Designer to create high-quality visual assets that support both our corporate brand and our network of franchisees. This role works across digital, print, and in-store channels to keep the Uptown Cheapskate and Kid to Kid brands consistent, fresh, and engaging.
**An online portfolio is required for consideration.
What You’ll Do
- Design visual assets across multiple touchpoints:
- Digital: social media, website graphics, email marketing (email design experience is a plus)
- Print: flyers, direct mail, signage
- In-store: window graphics, point-of-sale materials
- Franchisee templates and local marketing materials
- Apply and help evolve brand guidelines for Uptown Cheapskate and Kid to Kid
- Collaborate with marketing, creative, operations, and franchise partners on campaigns, promotions, and new store launches
- Develop scalable, brand-safe templates that allow for local customization
- Prepare production-ready files for print and digital execution
- Manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Stay current on design trends, retail/franchise marketing, and sustainability-focused design
What We’re Looking For
- Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent experience) in Graphic Design, Visual Communications, or a related field
- 2–5+ years of graphic design experience (level dependent), preferably in retail, brand, or franchise marketing
- Strong portfolio required showcasing digital and print work
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign); Figma or similar tools a plus
- Strong typography, layout, color, and composition skills
- Understanding of print production and pre-press workflows
- Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate cross-functionally
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
Preferred
- Experience working with franchise or multi-location brands
- Email design experience (templates, campaigns, lifecycle emails)
- Motion graphics or video experience
- Retail or in-store marketing experience
- Interest in sustainability and value-driven brands
- Understanding and ability to use AI in Adobe Suite
