Leader, Local Store Marketing
Reports To: Vice President, Brand & Franchising Classification: Exempt Department: Franchise Department Level: Management Summary Of Position: At Farmer Boys we believe our success begins at each location and happens one guest at a time. In support of this the Local Store Marketing Leader is a key contributor to the overall success of Farmer Boys brand engagement efforts at a local level. To lead this effort, we are looking for a result driven self-starter with industry and/or functional expertise in this area to help develop, deploy, steward, control, and validate the local store marketing initiative of the brand. This role serves as the primary liaison between corporate operations and individual restaurant operators, ensuring alignment with brand standards while tailoring strategies to local market needs. The LSM Leader will coach and support restaurant teams in executing promotions, community engagement, and grassroots marketing activities that build customer loyalty and enhance guest experience. Essential Duties And Responsibilities
Develop and implement comprehensive local store marketing programs aimed at increasing brand awareness, driving trial, and supporting sustained guest engagement. Design, refine, and customize marketing materials to support local initiatives and ensure alignment with brand standards. Build and deliver structured training programs to equip operators and their management teams with the tools and knowledge necessary to execute local marketing strategies effectively. Partner closely with Franchise Business Consultants and Marketing Representatives to support execution across markets. Provide strategic guidance to individual restaurants and restaurant groups, contributing to the development and refinement of regional and local marketing plans. Conduct measurement, analysis, and reporting on both pilot programs and system-wide initiatives, presenting findings and recommendations to leadership and broader system stakeholders. Oversee the development and maintenance of an ad builder and local market asset library, ensuring materials are accessible and customizable for operators. Manage budgets responsibly, ensuring accuracy, stewardship, and alignment with broader organizational goals. Collect, organize, and analyze local market spend data from operator ownership groups to support planning and accountability. Lead social media strategy and execution, including content development, scheduling, campaign management, and overall brand presence in partnership with marketing. Maintain consistent and effective communication with leadership, including weekly check-ins, status updates, and reporting. Qualifications
Must be detail oriented and disciplined to complete assigned tasks in a timely manner. Must be disciplined and focused on the pursuit of excellence. Must understand and achieve company vision, mission, and goals. Must have effective people skills: diplomatic, relationship oriented, effective communicator, including listening skills, accepting coaching and feedback, etc. Must be able to work as a team member and be an effective leader. Strong discipline, organizational skills, and follow-through, with the ability to ensure alignment and execution across diverse groups. Foundational design capabilities and copywriting proficiency to support creation and refinement of marketing materials. Ability to work independently while maintaining exceptional attention to detail, organization, and overall work ethic. Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software. Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or equivalent experience. 57 years of experience in Local Store Marketing, preferably within a multi-unit or franchise environment. Proven experience working directly with franchisees, with the ability to influence, guide, and hold stakeholders accountable. Working Environment/Minimum Physical Requirements
Full-time position: the position may require weekends and evening work. Occasional overnight travel Physical requirements include standing, sitting, and walking (up to 8 hours at a time); bending, stooping, and lifting (up to 15 pounds).
