Responsibilities
As a connector CAD Designer (m/f/d), you will take on demanding development and design tasks in a technologically pioneering environment Design and development of housing components for connectors, including connector internals, using the latest 3D printing technologies Development of innovative plastic injection-molded components, in close cooperation with the injection molding department Development of strain relief concepts and implementation of crimp, tensile and injection molding tests, including coordination of the associated manufacturing processes Design of various plug adapters and development of devices Construction of various sample cables (including male/female connectors and circuit board housings) for internal functional tests as well as for demonstration and customer presentations Your profile
Completed studies in mechanical engineering, mechatronics, precision engineering or a comparable technical qualification Experience in designing precision mechanical components, ideally in the field of connectors Profound knowledge in plastic-friendly construction Understanding of injection molding processes and manufacturing processes is an advantage Safe use of 3D CAD systems - CATIA V5 knowledge is an advantage Precise, structured and solution-oriented way of working Good knowledge of MS Office Good German and English language skills We offer
