Marketing Specialist – VyStar Credit Union
Join VyStar Credit Union as a Marketing Specialist to coordinate and manage email marketing initiatives and execute product marketing activities that acquire new members and deepen relationships with existing members. Using integrated marketing automation and analytics tools, you will manage and track campaigns that promote VyStar products and services across our markets.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Email Marketing
Work with internal departments to create email campaigns, workflows, and automation.
Maintain on‑going schedules for each email campaign and or communication approved for email delivery.
Measure and report email campaign results and recommend adjustments to increase effectiveness.
Work to decrease non‑deliverable and unsubscribe emails and maintain accurate opt‑out lists.
Work with Compliance to ensure CAN‑SPAM Act and other requirements are met.
Product Marketing
Partner with assigned business units to understand goals and create a quarterly calendar to execute campaigns that support production goals.
Collaborate with business units to launch complete campaigns from development, execution, and through to post‑campaign reporting.
In partnership with AVP, Marketing Insights & Analytics Manager, develop target audiences and campaign tracking metrics.
Work with internal and external partners to develop campaign creative briefs and ensure compliance approval.
Partner with digital agencies to develop comprehensive digital marketing strategy for assigned line of business.
Support new product and service launches and update product marketing content on the public website.
Marketing Automation
User of marketing automation platform and MCIF system.
Personalize communications to members and prospects using marketing automation tools.
Coordinate email communications for assigned lines of business and establish tracking.
Digital Content
Manage product content pages on the website for assigned lines of business and collaborate with product marketing to update promotions.
Manage content calendar for marketing banner ads within online and mobile banking.
Partner with VP, Regional Marketing to manage content calendar for external and internal digital branch signage.
Update front‑line communications for campaigns for assigned lines of business.
Marketing Team Support
Serve on internal project teams, support functional areas within the marketing department, and assist lines of business with new initiatives as needed.
EDUCATION Bachelor’s degree required (or equivalent combination of education and significant relevant experience).
EXPERIENCE
4+ years marketing, sales, or financial services experience inclusive of 2+ years working in marketing.
2+ years product marketing or sales experience preferred.
Email and digital marketing experience preferred.
JOB KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Experience presenting in a business setting.
Experience with HubSpot or similar marketing automation platform preferred.
Advanced computer skills and above average knowledge of Microsoft Office and Adobe Professional suite.
Results oriented with strong strategic, analytical, and interpersonal skills.
High level of initiative and ability to work independently.
Ability to manage multiple projects and flexibility to adapt to changing priorities.
Strong team orientation and ability to work with people at all business levels.
