Position Overview Edgewood Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center is seeking a dynamic and self-motivated
Admissions & Marketing Coordinator
to join our team. This full-time position combines responsibilities in both admissions and marketing to drive our outreach efforts, build community relationships, and ensure the highest quality of care for our residents. The ideal candidate will be passionate about healthcare, customer-focused, and able to effectively manage both internal and external communication efforts.
Key Responsibilities
Admissions:
Coordinate the admissions process for prospective residents, including inquiry follow-ups, facility tours, and the completion of required paperwork.
Ensure timely and accurate documentation for all admissions and facilitate the smooth transition of new residents into the facility.
Work closely with healthcare providers, families, and insurance companies to ensure a seamless intake process.
Marketing:
Develop and execute marketing strategies to increase brand awareness and attract new residents.
Maintain and update the center's social media channels, and other marketing materials.
Build and maintain strong relationships with local physicians, hospitals, and other referral sources.
Coordinate and attend community events to promote the center's services and mission.
Collaboration & Communication:
Work closely with the center's leadership team to ensure alignment of marketing and admissions efforts.
Provide support for internal and external communications, promoting the center’s services, programs, and achievements.
Qualifications
Previous experience in admissions, marketing, or healthcare-related roles is highly preferred.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with social media platforms.
Knowledge of healthcare regulations and the admissions process in long-term care settings is a plus.
