Job Description Email is a critical channel for how this organization educates, engages, and converts its audience. We’re looking for a Manager, Email Marketing to own and scale the email channel end-to-end. This is a hands‑on role responsible for the day‑to‑day execution, optimization, and performance of the email program. You’ll partner closely with creative, growth, and data teams to deliver high‑impact campaigns that drive revenue, support subscriptions, and deepen customer engagement.
What You’ll Do
Own the execution and optimization of all email marketing campaigns, including promotional, educational, and retention‑focused sends
Design, build, and optimize automated email flows to support key business goals such as onboarding, repeat purchase, and subscription engagement
Partner with creative and brand teams to develop compelling, on‑brand email content that drives engagement and conversion
Build and manage a strategic email calendar aligned to revenue goals, product launches, and brand initiatives
Regularly evaluate subscription‑related email programs and identify opportunities to improve performance through segmentation and messaging
Monitor, analyze, and report on email performance across key metrics, identifying growth opportunities and addressing underperforming campaigns
Plan and execute A/B and multivariate tests across subject lines, creative, copy, timing, and audience segmentation
Proactively manage email deliverability, list health, inbox placement, and deployment best practices
Implement and maintain email hygiene strategies to protect long‑term performance
Manage day‑to‑day relationships with email technology partners and vendors, including ESPs and agency support
Key Performance Indicators
Email‑driven revenue
Subscription conversion influenced by email
Engagement metrics (open rate, click‑through rate)
List health and deliverability performance
What We’re Looking For
4–6 years of hands‑on experience managing and optimizing email marketing programs with measurable results
Strong experience with Klaviyo or similar email service providers
Deep understanding of email best practices, deliverability, segmentation, and compliance
Solid understanding of e‑commerce and subscription‑driven business models
Data‑driven mindset with strong analytical and testing capabilities
Comfortable operating in fast‑moving, ambiguous environments and taking full ownership of a channel
Highly organized, detail‑oriented, and execution‑focused
