MARKETING AND COMMUNICATIONS SPECIALIST
POSITION SUMMARY
This position is responsible for the consistency, enhancement and delivery of the Scale brand as it relates to the Scale Bank website and social media platforms, print materials, marketing events, and public relations efforts. It ensures we have the right messages in the right media, to the right audiences at the right time.

Accountability / Responsibilities Brand and Content Development - 40%
Design, develop, and produce print and digital sales and marketing collateral.
Write and manage content for newsletters, blog articles, press releases, and email campaigns.
Develop and maintain consistent brand voice and messaging across platforms.
Create visual assets using Canva, Adobe, or similar tools to support branded marketing efforts.
Collaborate with internal teams to align messaging with company voice.
Coordinate with external vendors for marketing-related print, signage, and merchandise needs and ensure timely and quality delivery.
Digital Marketing & Social Media - 30%
Monitor, update, and maintain the company website and social media platforms.
Support organic social media efforts by curating employee stories and behind-the-scenes content. Assist lenders in maintaining social media presence.
Assist with campaign content for platforms like LinkedIn.
Track and report on social engagement metrics to inform content decisions.
Lead Generation & Engagement - 30%
Design and execute digital newsletters and nurturing campaigns.
Coordinate lender activities for outreach and promotion to identified prospects.
Track participation in trade associations and sponsorship activities.
Manage promotional and PR events, including pre- and post-event communications.
Capture and curate stories, photos, and videos from events and locations for use in campaigns.
Maintain data standards within all software.

Requirements EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS
BS/BA or equivalent in Marketing, PR or Communications
Proficient in MS Office Products
Familiarity with CRM technologies and web publishing/social media platforms
Experience with Adobe Creative Suite, Salesforce, and HubSpot preferred
Collaboration and teamwork - Enjoys working as part of a team and across multiple departments
Detail orientation – Able to conduct close analysis and identify errors and inconsistencies
Creativity – Able to envision new concepts and ideas and turn them into reality
Self-motivated and strong work ethic – Thrives on being accountable and being disciplined to deliver results
Patient and diplomatic – Able to adjust to the pace set by others and deal with ambiguity
