Marketing Manager (Part Time, Remote)

The Role We’re looking for a
Part‑time Marketing Manager
for about 15-20 hours a week to start to own performance marketing at The Candidly. You’ll lead newsletter strategy and growth, manage acquisition and retention campaigns, and deliver data‑driven insights to fuel growth.
This is a remote role.
Key Responsibilities
Newsletter Ownership : Manage the newsletter end‑to‑end, build, design, segmentation, testing, growth strategy, and retention.
Performance Marketing : Plan and execute campaigns across Paid Social (Meta Ads Manager), Affiliate, SEO, and lead generation.
Commerce & Affiliate Marketing : Work with Managing Editor on strategy across Amazon, ShopMy, Impact, Skimlinks, and other direct partners; build and maintain key relationships; optimizing affiliate funnels (placement, CTAs, linking strategy) to increase clicks and commissions and track and report on revenue performance, identifying trends and actionable insights.
Budget & Optimization : Allocate and optimize marketing spend; continuously test and adjust to maximize ROI.
Analytics & Reporting : Use GA4 and other analytics tools to track KPIs, build dashboards, and deliver actionable insights.
Testing & Experimentation : Run A/B and multivariate testing on creative, targeting, and funnel strategies.
Trend & Market Monitoring : Identify opportunities by staying ahead of cultural shifts and digital marketing best practices.
Collaboration : Work closely with editorial and leadership to align marketing with content and brand strategy.
Qualifications
4–6 years of
performance marketing experience
in digital‑first media, consumer brands, or subscription businesses.
Expertise in
newsletter growth and optimization
(experience with Email service providers/newsletter tools required).
Hands‑on experience with:
GA4
for analytics and reporting.
Meta Ads Manager
for paid campaign management.
Newsletter/ESP tools
(e.g., Mailchimp, Klaviyo, ConvertKit, or similar).
Strong background in paid social, affiliate, SEO, and lead‑gen campaigns.
Analytical and data‑driven, with the ability to translate insights into growth strategies.
Comfortable in a lean, fast‑moving environment; self‑starter with attention to detail.
