The Analyst I/Corporate Communications is an individual contributor within the Corporate Communications Department at Southwest Gas Corporation. This entry-level position supports building and maintaining public awareness and trust through multi-channel communications efforts. The ideal candidate is a strong oral and written communicator with experience in public relations, media relations, community outreach, events, social media, digital outreach, and content creation. The Analyst works collaboratively with internal stakeholders, media, community partners, industry partners, vendors, and customers to strategically communicate key company initiatives. The successful candidate is a self-starter who is organized and capable of meeting multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment even in times of crisis. The ability to analyze and interpret data to determine ROI of communications efforts and strong public speaking skills is preferred.

ESSENTIAL JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Prioritize, schedule, track and complete corporate communications projects in a timely manner
Provide support and assist in managing activities related to the Company's participation in events, shows,conferences, and press/media events
Provide analytical support that may include industry analysis, industry trends,market strategies, performance metrics, and media opportunities
Handle and fulfill ad hoc requests for research and analysis for different projects
Conduct research on programs, events, sponsorships, strategies, and opportunities as assigned
Gather and organize data or information to be used in reports in various formats such as PowerPoint, spreadsheets, or written reports
Assist in the production of collateral materials, communications campaigns, and other materials such as media statements or press releases for company-wide initiatives
Initiate base copy for print, audio, visual, or digital materials or channels in support of programs and campaigns for internal or external communications
Assist in developing strategies and proposals in support of programs that increase customer engagement, customer acquisition, and growth of Company's market share
Assist with reviews and revisions to visual and written communicationsin a timely manner to facilitate and distribute communication of Company news, programs, brand identify, and commission-mandated messages
Maintain basic technical knowledge in the area of computer operations, Adobe, and Microsoft programs
Coordinate outside contractors and vendors for corporate communications projects
Analyze workflows and recommend technological and other changes for efficiencies
Assist in the production and distribution of internal and external communications across various channels for multiple stakeholders
Perform related duties and responsibilities as assigned

SALARY DETAILS Las Vegas & Phoenix:
$54,708 - $76,632
