Position Summary
The Domestic Sales Representative is responsible for building customer relationships from prospecting, closing, to post sales support for generating new business as well as expanding on existing business.
Key Responsibilities:
Generate and manage sales opportunities within assigned territory to achieve revenue targets and growth objectives.
Develop and maintain strong customer relationships, from initial prospecting through post-sales support, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.
Prepare and deliver quotations and proposals for products and services, including special
Act as the primary interface between customers and technical teams, ensuring accurate communication of requirements and solutions.
Build and maintain a robust sales pipeline, tracking opportunities and progress using CRM
Leverage digital platforms and networking (e.g., LinkedIn, trade shows, seminars) to identify and engage prospects.
Analyze market trends and competitor activity to inform sales strategies and campaigns.
Delivers technical product presentations to key clients.
Requirements for Consideration:
Bachelor’s degree required, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Minimum 3–5 years of related experience, preferably in technology, capital equipment, or instrument sales.
Ability and willingness to travel as needed.
Strongverbal and written communication skills, including the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
Proventime management and follow-up skills with a track record of closing deals.
Customer-focused with excellentrelationship-building abilities.
Demonstrated ability to act as achange agent—high energy, results-oriented, and able to establish rapport.
Leadership style that isgoal-oriented, motivational, ethical, and engaging.
Self-motivated and driven to achieve results.
Proficiency inCRM systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
