Position Summary We are seeking a hunter‑style Outside Sales Representative to drive new business growth in the industrial market. This role is focused on new customer acquisition, expanding our footprint across manufacturing, processing, and industrial facilities.
The ideal candidate is self‑motivated, disciplined, and thrives in an entrepreneurial environment. This position offers significant earning potential, autonomy, and the opportunity to grow with a company in its early expansion phase.
Key Responsibilities
Proactively identify, target, and develop new industrial customer relationships
Conduct on‑site visits with maintenance managers, plant managers, and decision‑makers
Sell industrial compressor services including:
Emergency service
Preventive maintenance
System evaluations
New equipment solutions
Generate and manage a consistent pipeline of qualified opportunities
Collaborate closely with operations and technical teams to ensure accurate scope and customer satisfaction
Convert repeat service customers into long‑term maintenance agreements
Track activity, opportunities, and forecasts accurately
Represent the company professionally and ethically in all customer interactions
Required Qualifications
Proven success in B2B industrial sales (compressed air, industrial services, equipment, MRO, or related field preferred)
Demonstrated ability to hunt and close new accounts
Comfortable working independently in a field‑based role
Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
Ability to manage a full sales cycle from prospecting to close
Valid driver’s license and ability to travel locally (Gulf Coast Texas)
Preferred Qualifications
Experience selling industrial services or capital equipment
Familiarity with manufacturing or plant maintenance environments
Existing relationships in the industrial or manufacturing sector
Technical aptitude and willingness to learn compressed air systems
Compensation Structure
Base Salary: $45,000 – $55,000 (commensurate with experience)
Commission: Performance‑based commission paid on gross profit, not just revenue
On‑Target Earnings (OTE): $85,000 – $110,000+
Uncapped commission potential
