Corporate Relations Advisor – Baton Rouge Region
We’re seeking a Corporate Relations Advisor to serve as a key liaison between our organization and the Baton Rouge community. This role builds strong relationships with local stakeholders, supports reputation management, and drives strategic communications across regional facilities.
What You’ll Do
Lead community engagement and internal communications.
Develop and execute stakeholder engagement plans for growth projects and operational events, including low‑carbon initiatives.
Represent the organization in community forums and industry groups.
Manage social media strategy and content.
Activate employee volunteerism and outreach programs.
Monitor non‑technical risks and social performance opportunities.
Support emergency response as Public Information Officer (PIO) when needed.
Advise leaders on political, regulatory, and reputational matters.
Coordinate with trade associations and industry advocacy partners.
Qualifications
Legal authorization to work in the U.S.
5+ years in communications, community relations, government relations, or social performance.
Strong writing and social media skills (writing samples required).
Ability to perform under pressure in dynamic, high‑visibility environments.
Strong local knowledge and relationships with community and state stakeholders.
Proven issue‑anticipation and influencing skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and AI tools like Copilot.
