As a Personal Banker, you’ll gain valuable insight into banking and finance, while helping customers with their daily financial challenges. This role at our Cross Keys location involves developing and maintaining long-lasting relationships with customers and collaborating with co-workers and other areas of the business to uncover financial needs and provide solutions. Work Schedule Monday - Friday: 8:15 AM - 5:15 PM, Saturday: 8:45 - 12:15 PM Responsibilities
Receive the tools, resources, and training needed to be successful and have opportunities to advance within Commerce Bank. Deliver an excellent customer experience in person and over the phone to meet customers’ financial needs. Actively listen to customers and make appropriate recommendations that match their needs. Educate customers on a variety of retail products and digital solutions to improve financial wellness. Ensure financial transactions are completed accurately and in compliance with policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements. Establish relationships with other internal departments and refer customers to bank specialists for complex financial needs. Earn more than base pay through quarterly incentive programs. Essential Functions
Interact with customers in person and by phone to meet financial needs through needs-based conversations and sales fulfillment. Listen, understand, and recommend products and services to achieve individual and team goals. Educate customers on retail products and digital solutions to enhance the customer experience and achieve sales goals. Ensure financial transactions are completed accurately and in compliance with policies and regulatory requirements. Identify complex financial needs and refer customers to bank specialists when appropriate. Perform other duties as assigned. Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
Strong sales skills with the ability to provide an excellent customer experience. Ability to meet personal and branch sales and customer service expectations. Motivated and organized self-starter with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities. Team player with excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills. Adaptable with an optimistic outlook aligned with our Core Values. Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook. Education & Experience
High School diploma or equivalent required. 1+ years sales or customer service experience required. Experience in an environment with sales goals preferred. Position may be filled as a Personal Banker I or II, depending on experience and education. For this position, a Consumer Investigatory Report background check may be required. If considered, you will be asked to authorize the report. Compensation note: A reasonable estimate of the current base pay is
$20.00 to $24.40 per hour . Additional compensation may be available through performance-based incentive plans. The candidate selected may be eligible for benefits including health, dental, vision insurance, 401(k), life insurance, paid vacation, and paid personal time.
