The New Home Consultant manages the new home purchase process from initial customer contact to closing.
Your Responsibilities on the Team
Engage and establish relationships with visitors to understand their home buying needs.
Self-generate sales leads through community engagement, realtor partnerships, and proactive prospecting.
Develop comprehensive knowledge of the competitive market, products, community features, and demographics.
Provide consistent follow-through with customers from initial contact to post-closing.
Participate in sales meetings, neighborhood promotions, and marketing programs.
Ensure maintenance of Welcome Home Center models and inventory homes.
Complete required training and participate in community events and phone banks.
Requirements
High school diploma or equivalent; college degree and real estate license preferred.
1-2 years of experience in homebuilding or real estate sales preferred.
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
Strong communication, organizational, and customer service skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and ability to use sales tracking tools.
Self-motivated with a positive attitude and strong work ethic.
Physical & Office/Site Presence Requirements Regular, in-person attendance at company communities/job sites and offices during regular work hours is essential. The position is primarily active, involving office/phone work and walking in all weather conditions to and within homesites in the community. Must be able to lift and carry supplies up to 25 pounds.
