The Spirit of the Position:


The Event Manager oversees parking operations for a variety of events, including entertainment, sporting, and cultural events. The Event Manager ensures professional, 24/7 event management and upholds LAZ Parkings commitment to a people-first, servant leadership culture by supporting both company initiatives and the unique needs of on-site teams.



Compensation: $55,000$65,000 annually


Principal Job Duties:




  • Promote a people-first, servant leadership model by providing the tools and resources that allow employees to grow and succeed.




  • Build a customer-centric culture that values approachability, professionalism, and engagement.




  • Identify and develop high-performing employees to support company growth.




  • Maintain a positive, safety-focused workplace environment.




  • Oversee and manage all aspects of event operations and personnel.




  • Align processes, resource planning, and departmental goals with overall business strategy.




  • Track performance metrics and make operational adjustments as needed.




  • Ensure compliance with all contractual requirements between LAZ Parking and clients.




  • Identify opportunities for improvement and implement data-driven solutions.




  • Develop short- and long-term strategic plans based on event data and operational insights.




  • Manage staffing, scheduling, payroll processing, and team development.




  • Coordinate with event venues to prepare for and manage parking logistics.




  • Oversee the implementation and completion of projects, programs, and initiatives.




  • Organize, lead, and execute event operations from start to finish.




  • Perform additional duties as assigned.




Education:




  • Bachelors Degree or equivalent work experience.




Experience:




  • Minimum of 3 years in a management role.




  • Proficiency in Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Microsoft Office Suite.




  • Event and parking management experience preferred, but not required.




  • Must be flexible and available to work outside of regular hours based on event needs.

Physical Demands:




  • Willingness to work in outdoor conditions (heat, wind, rain, snow, etc.).




  • Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 25 pounds.




  • Ability to stand, walk, and move for extended periods.




  • Frequent bending, stooping, and lifting required.

After six months of employment averaging at least 25 hours per week, part-time employees become eligible for full-time benefits.
