Ken Fulk Inc. is seeking an Events Coordinator with a minimum of 2 years of professional experience.
The Events Coordinator’s primary responsibility is to provide support to the Ken Fulk Experiences team. This role collaborates with the events and design teams to assist with event design and production.
Requirements
A Bachelor’s Degree is required
A minimum of 2 years of work experience in event planning or hospitality is required
Must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills
Strong interpersonal, and organizational skills
Creative and curious thinker
Attention to detail, embraces adaptability, and is flexible with unforeseen circumstances to problem solve on the fly
Calmness under pressure, with the ability to stay positive and ask for help when needed
Self-starter mentality with a go-getter attitude who knows the importance of asking questions
Ability to work simultaneously on multiple projects in a complex, highly demanding, and fast-paced work environment
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Google Suite, Canva, Dropbox, AdobeSuite, and a high proficiency in Excel is essential
Knowledge of design and fine arts are desired
Able to work a typical events schedule that includes weekdays, weeknights, and weekends as needed.
Role + Responsibilities
Responsible for supporting the Director of Experience and events team with the implementation and execution of events
Play a crucial on‑site support role during events; training provided on how to properly open and close the SJAS building and coordinate among building operations teams (security, janitorial) as well as vendors during load‑in and load‑out
Coordinate and work closely with the internal design team (floral, branding, stylists, and interior architects and designers) along with external vendors and clients
Support the management of in‑house SJAS bar operations, including inventory updates, working closely with SJAS Bar Manager
Support the day‑to‑day building operations that enable SJAS to operate as a functional and safe event space, including coordinating with various building vendors on an ad‑hoc basis
Coordinate with various vendors and consultants
Collaborate with events and branding teams to prepare collateral materials
Research and reach out to vendors for quotes and pricing
Assist with tracking event costs and monitoring overall events budget

Compensation

Compensation starts at $68,000 based on experience level.
