Job Objective
The Copywriter is an established performer who works to solve marketing problems of limited complexity and scope by identifying and addressing problems such as brand consistency as well as learning drafting and editing processes and gaining an understanding of marketing. This role is responsible for creating compelling and engaging content.
Duties and Responsibilities of the Position
Draft clear, compelling copy for a variety of mediums including advertising, website landing pages, email campaigns, blogs, and social media.
Conduct research and interviews as needed for content creation.
Utilize and understand creative briefs to meet project requirements.
Ensure all content aligns with company and brand guidelines.
Support business objectives by collaborating with Marketing, Product, Channel, and Sales teams.
Edit and proofread copy as needed.
Perform accurate analyses, and research how target customers are searching for products and services.
Uses innovative solutions to enhance personal work and, where applicable, the team's work.
Effectively apply functional, process, and procedural or technical knowledge to address business challenges.
Provide guidance and assistance to entry-level professionals.
Influence others within the job area by explaining facts and policies to resolve routine issues.
Work on projects and assignments as part of a large work team.
Perform other duties as needed.
Required Experience and Education
Bachelors degree in a related field preferred.
2-4 years of relevant experience OR equivalent combination of education and experience.
Proven ability to demonstrate brand voice.
Writing in a variety of styles including email, digital platforms, B2B, and B2C.
Knowledge of SEO Strategies
Competencies
Demonstrates strong knowledge of technical, process, and business principles as well as industry practices and standards.
Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
Able to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively.
High level of integrity and discretion in handling sensitive and confidential data.
Proficient using Microsoft Office Suite products.
