Regional Business Development Executive

Key Responsibilities
Generate leads through cold calling, referrals, inbound assignments, networking, and leveraging industry contacts. Schedule and attend meetings with potential clients to understand their needs and present the overall company value proposition. Expand existing relationships and identify new revenue opportunities. Develop and implement business development strategies to achieve sales targets and company objectives. Collaborate with internal teams to tailor solutions and proposals that align with client needs. Identify top-volume target accounts and develop an account roadmap based on regional offices and key decision makers. Track market trends, competitor activities, and client feedback to inform business development strategies. Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with clients, industry partners, and other key stakeholders. Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction. Attend local industry events, conferences, and trade shows to build a circle of influence and stay informed about industry trends. Actively participate in professional organizations and community groups to enhance the company’s visibility and reputation. Meet or exceed the annual assigned sales target. Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or a related field. Minimum of 4+ years of business development experience; selling professional services experience desired. Strong ability to lead a comprehensive value proposition presentation of all LJB service offerings. Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets and growing business within a target market and/or assigned territory. Experience in a cross-selling sales environment demonstrating results. Basic understanding of structural, infrastructure, or safety engineering preferred. Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team in a fast-paced, results-oriented environment. Proficiency in CRM software, Microsoft Office Suite, and other relevant business tools. Ability to travel overnight up to 40%. Compensation: $100,000 – $130,000 based upon experience, certifications, and regional market standards.
