What to Expect (Job Responsibilities)

Conduct in-depth investigations and analyses in support of the employer's BSA/AML program using blockchain analytics

Review higher-risk cases for potential fraud, money laundering, and other illicit activities

Apply investigatory techniques to complex fact patterns to meet regulatory filing requirements

Evaluate alerting activity related to AML and fraud to determine Suspicious Activity Report (SAR) filing needs

Maintain detailed documentation to ensure compliance with regulatory and internal policies

What is Required (Qualifications)

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent

3-5 years of relevant experience in conducting AML investigations and SAR preparation

Experience in the cryptocurrency or blockchain industry

Ability to handle highly confidential and sensitive information

Exceptional written and research skills for regulatory reports and investigations

How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)

CAMS, CFE, or CFCS certification

Crypto Investigation Certifications from recognized institutions (e.g., Chainalysis, TRM Labs, Elliptic)

Familiarity with SQL and applications such as Looker, SuperSet, or Snowflake
