What You Will Do
- Strategy & Planning: develop and execute global and regional PR strategies for Plaud Consumer, Business, and Developer sectors; identify key narratives to position Plaud as a pioneer in AI-driven productivity; coordinate launches, thought-leadership campaigns, and brand moments across major markets.
- Media Relations: build and manage relationships with tier-1 tech, business, and vertical media; secure consistent, high-quality coverage across earned media channels; act as day-to-day contact for press inquiries, briefings, and interviews.
- Content & Messaging: draft press releases, media pitches, briefing documents, op-eds, and bylines; ensure message consistency across external channels; collaborate with product, legal, and marketing teams to develop PR-ready narratives.
- Event & Communications: support media strategies for product launches, global conferences, and press events; prepare spokespeople with media training and talking points; manage sentiment.
- Analytics & Optimization: track PR performance and coverage using relevant tools; analyze campaign impact and iterate based on insights; maintain and grow a database of press contacts, coverage reports, and benchmarks.
Minimum Qualifications
- 4–7 years PR/communications experience with 1+ years in senior PR roles, preferably in tech, AI, SaaS, or premium consumer electronics.
- Proven track record managing PR agencies and multi-market campaigns.
- Experience with regulatory communications and crisis management.
- Strong network of European media contacts and demonstrated media placement success.
- Good at using AI tools to improve work efficiency.
- Experience working with executive stakeholders, agencies, and cross-functional teams.
- Excellent storytelling, writing, and editing skills.
- Comfortable navigating fast-paced, international environments with shifting priorities.
Preferred Qualifications
- MBA or advanced degree in Communications/Marketing.
- Previous experience building PR functions from scratch in new markets.
