The Senior Principal / Director, AI Business Value Strategy is a strategic and analytical leader responsible for shaping the business value frameworks, financial models, go‑to‑market materials, and platforms that underpin Slalom’s enterprise AI strategy. This role is instrumental in defining how Slalom articulates, quantifies, and delivers business value through AI — guiding both internal teams and clients in understanding the economics of transformation.
In addition to driving business value frameworks and managing the Slalom AI Value Platform (including the AI Value Calculator, SHIFT AQ Assessment, EnhanceIQ, and Capability Assessment), this leader will own the AI Office go‑to‑market and commercial content that supports our growth strategy across markets.
What You'll Do
Strategic Leadership & Thought Partnership
Shape and evolve Slalom’s AI Business Value Frameworks to ensure consistent, outcome‑driven engagement with clients.
Partner with global and market leadership to connect AI business value to enterprise outcomes and client impact.
Advise Slalom executives and clients on the future of AI economics, business transformation, and organizational readiness.
AI Value Platform Ownership
Serve as the strategic owner of the AI Value Platform, ensuring integration, scalability, and alignment with Slalom’s AI strategy.
Lead the roadmap, design, and governance of the platform and its components — AI Value Calculator, SHIFT AQ Assessment, EnhanceIQ, and Capability Assessment.
Partner with engineering, product, and go‑to‑market teams to embed platform insights into client solutioning, delivery, and measurement processes.
AI Office Go‑to‑Market & Commercial Strategy
Own the AI Office go‑to‑market strategy and associated commercial materials that communicate the value proposition of Slalom’s AI Value Platform and related frameworks.
Develop sales enablement, pursuit decks, playbooks, and market narratives to ensure cohesive messaging across industries and markets.
Partner with marketing, solution, and client leadership teams to evolve Slalom’s AI Value Platform brand presence and commercial storytelling in market.
Establish and maintain content standards for AI business value materials to ensure consistency and quality across the firm.
Business Value Frameworks & Financial Modeling
Design and refine financial models, ROI frameworks, and value assessment tools that quantify the business impact of AI initiatives.
Create repeatable methodologies to connect use case value drivers to enterprise financial outcomes and client KPIs.
Partner with pursuit teams to integrate value models into proposals and client presentations.
Go‑to‑Market Enablement & Sales Support
Collaborate with the Outcome Sales and Solutions teams to integrate AI business value narratives into all pursuit and offering materials.
Lead enablement programs to train market teams on using the AI Value Platform and associated frameworks in client conversations.
Support executive pursuits by articulating the tangible business and financial outcomes of Slalom’s AI engagements.
Eminence & Market Leadership
Publish and present Slalom’s perspective on AI value creation, ROI modeling, and responsible AI adoption across internal and external forums. li>
Partner with marketing and innovation teams to produce thought leadership content, success stories, and keynote materials showcasing client value realization.
What You'll Bring
10–15 years of experience in management consulting, AI strategy, or digital transformation, including at least 5 years in a client‑facing or commercial leadership role.
Deep experience in AI or technology business case development, ROI/value quantification, or enterprise strategy frameworks.
Proven ability to translate complex AI or data concepts into clear business narratives and financial impact stories.
Demonstrated success leading go‑to‑market strategy, sales enablement, or offering commercialization efforts.
Strong business storytelling and executive communication skills, including experience presenting to C‑suite audiences.
Expertise in managing cross‑functional teams and influencing without direct authority.
Preferred
Experience managing or designing enterprise‑level platforms, frameworks, or toolkits.
Familiarity with AI governance, capability maturity modeling, and change management principles.
MBA, MS in Data/AI, or equivalent experience combining business and analytical expertise.

Slalom is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. For this position, the base salary pay range for Senior Principal is $159,000 to $198,000 and for Director is $185,000 to $234,000. In addition, individuals may be eligible for an annual discretionary bonus. Actual compensation will depend upon an individual’s skills, experience, qualifications, location, and other relevant factors. The salary pay range is subject to change and may be modified at any time.
