Business Development Representative / Account Executive (Environmental Services)
Based in the Dallas‑Fort Worth metroplex, Greenmark Waste Solutions (“Greenmark”) is a locally‑owned solid waste and recycling collection company serving industrial, commercial, and construction markets across the area and operating as Home Town Disposal in the Memphis metroplex.

TWO CAREER PATHS AVAILABLE
Business Development Representative (Inside Sales)
– Ideal for early‑career professionals looking to learn the business from the ground up and excel in online research, phone‑based prospecting, and relationship building. This position provides a foundation for growth into field‑based sales. Work onsite at our Dallas yard.
Account Executive (Outside Sales)
– Designed for experienced sales professionals with a proven track record in territory management and face‑to‑face selling. Based in Dallas, operating primarily in the field covering the Dallas‑Fort Worth territory.
POSITION SUMMARY
As a member of Greenmark’s sales team, you will be responsible for attaining new, profitable business growth within an assigned territory or line of business. This will involve identifying leads, proactively prospecting, and selling new and profitable business in the commercial, portable restrooms, and roll‑off dumpster lines of business.
Both positions offer the opportunity to be considered for our Leadership Development Program.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (Both Roles)
Prospect for new potential customers utilizing sales tools and market research.
Obtain potential customers through cold calling and email outreach.
Establish initial and follow‑up appointments with customer decision‑makers.
Manage and communicate effectively with prospects throughout the sales cycle, from initial contact to negotiation and closing.
Manage, organize, and track all stages of the sale process in our system.
Document all activities and develop robust information profiles on prospective customers.
Complete required proposals, service agreements, and other administrative work in a timely manner.
Coordinate with operations to ensure a smooth customer experience.
Meet and exceed monthly targeted sales goals and customer satisfaction goals.
Develop in‑depth knowledge of Greenmark, the waste industry, local market competitive trends, and our equipment.
Focus on serving customers and discern actionable steps to help them.
Work independently, earn a reputation as a trusted team member who will always do the right thing, and communicate proactively.
Be a brand ambassador for Greenmark, driving a culture of excellence and true partnership with team members, customers, and external stakeholders.
Additional Responsibilities for Account Executive
Leverage industry events and conferences for prospecting.
Conduct in‑person outreach and meetings to develop relationships with customer decision‑makers.
Visit customer sites to ensure safety and proper dumpster placement.
Attend company‑sponsored networking events.
EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, & REQUIREMENTS
Required for Both Positions
Preferred: Bachelor's degree.
1‑2 years of experience in a customer service role that includes upselling, phone‑based prospecting, cold calling, and/or direct B2B sales resulting in successfully obtaining customer appointments (part‑time work during college and/or internship experience can count).
Industry experience in business services, construction, industrial services, or environmental services is a plus.
Experience with CRM tools preferred.
Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus.
Additional Requirements for Account Executive
2+ years of door‑to‑door B2B prospecting experience resulting in successfully obtaining appointments and closing sales.
Valid driver’s license and ability to travel throughout the metroplex.
