Role Summary As a Sales Representative for Merchant Services, you will be responsible for driving new business by selling payment solutions to small and mid-sized businesses. Key activities include pricing strategy, customer segmentation, delivering compelling presentations, onboarding new accounts, and ongoing account management. This is primarily a field-based role, with some sales conducted via phone depending on business needs and territory scale.

What Part Will You Play?

Manages a portfolio of clients for the company, typically with an annual net revenue value of $200,000 or more. Identifies revenue opportunities and prospective clients within assigned territories through face to face meetings, telephone communications, marketing programs, and other activities as needed. Conducts face to face meetings with prospects to identify appropriate contacts, qualify and drive leads through the sales pipeline. Ensures suspect identification, planning, account qualification, and needs analysis at all prospect levels. Responds to customer requests for information and gives online presentations. Identifies and closes additional product and/or service sales with existing clients to further develop the client relationship. Manages client relationships and expectations during the sales cycle.

Maintains existing/prospective client records, in accordance with company policies, to include call notes, scheduled client interactions, contact information, and other relevant client information, in the Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system; currently SalesForce.com. Keeps management informed of all activity, including timely preparation of reports.

Develops knowledge of current product/service portfolio as well as changes and developments within the payments industry.

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree

At least 2years of relevant experience, ideally in a sales or customer-facing role.

Preferred Qualifications

Minimum 2 Years of B2B sales experience

Proven success in cold calling and closing sales

Demonstrated track record of high performance in a previous sales role

Base Salary: $40,000

Residual Income: Keep earning from your hard work

Monthly/Quarterly Bonuses: Extra financial incentives for exceeding quota and achieving sales goals.

$40,000+ Commission Compensation

The above represents the expected base (select: salary or hourly) range for this job requisition. Ultimately, in determining your base pay, we’ll consider your location, experience, and other job-related factors. The compensation model also allows for additional commission compensation, which may be later used to offset any wage advancements. A first-year professional may expect an average of $40,000+ in commission compensation if you are in the top 25% in the form of uncapped weekly commissions, lifetime residuals, and portfolio equity.

Annual On-Target Earnings (OTE): $100,000+
