Director of Operations – Detroit, MI

$140,000 – $160,000 base + performance bonus (approx. 10%) + long-term incentive opportunity
Role Overview This position serves as the senior operational leader for a large, multi-site operation based in the Detroit market. The Director of Operations is accountable for performance, staffing, and execution across a sizable frontline workforce in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and oversee regional operations, including direct management of senior operations leaders and a workforce of 100+ employees.
Drive operational performance, accountability, and consistency across locations.
Partner closely with recruiting and HR to ensure appropriate staffing levels and high-quality talent.
Step in operationally to resolve issues, stabilize performance, and support frontline leadership as needed.
Lead change initiatives focused on process improvement, scalability, and operational discipline.
Act as a key connector between field operations and executive leadership.
Ideal Candidate Profile
Senior operations leadership experience within healthcare, or similarly regulated service environments.
Experience operating in high-growth, or turnaround environments.
Hands-on, roll-up-your-sleeves leadership style with strong execution instincts.
Proven ability to lead through change, ambiguity, and operational pressure.
