Overview

The Tradition Senior Living community in Prestonwood, Houston, TX offers a comprehensive continuum of care, including Independent Living, Assisted Living, and Memory Care. This Resident Services Coordinator (RSC) position supports the overall operations of the Assisted Living unit and assists with Memory Care functions as needed, reporting directly to the Healthcare Director. Responsibilities

Support all day‑to‑day healthcare operations of the assisted living and memory care community. Assist with management and oversight of business systems such as CarePredict, Eldermark (EHR/EMR), OnShift, Paycor, and McKesson‑Orbits. Assist with incident reporting and investigations. Assume duties and responsibilities in the Healthcare Director’s absence. Assist with staff supervision. Interface daily with residents to ensure their physical, emotional, and mental well‑being. Interface with families to report any problems, illnesses, or other concerns. Interface with doctors, home‑health care, and other agencies referred to by residents. Ensure the safety and well‑being of all residents. Handle questions and concerns regarding healthcare operations. Assist residents and families with non‑healthcare related concerns and communicate with the appropriate department manager. Be knowledgeable of and able to perform all fire and safety, tornado and disaster evacuation procedures, and participate in all community preparedness programs. Support labor and supply budget management. Manage assisted living schedules, hours, and overtime, ensuring staffing is up to date on OnShift. Participate in an on‑call rotation with the Healthcare Director and Memory Care Director. Interface with pharmacy to ensure orders are accurate. Assist the Healthcare Director with all assisted living admissions. Conduct new hire training and orientation, ensuring processes are finalized and coordinated. Coordinate annual and monthly self‑medication assessments with the Healthcare Director. Coordinate annual assessments and service plans with the Healthcare Director. Participate in special job‑related assignments as requested by the Healthcare Director. Requirements

Maintain a current nursing license in Texas. Have knowledge and expertise in specific service areas for the community. Understand financial parameters, budget creation, and management. Be able to effectively address and resolve employee, resident, and family concerns. Exhibit superior customer relations skills. Possess an energetic demeanor with a caring, compassionate attitude. Be able to read, write, and communicate effectively in English. Be able to direct, supervise, and coordinate the work of others and motivate for positive performance. Possess sound organizational and time‑management skills. Possess good judgment, problem‑solving, and decision‑making skills. Be able to utilize computers and related software programs. Benefits
