Overview Job Summary

The Account Manager is responsible for account support at the direction of the senior team members. The Account Manager provides customer service by handling the day‑to‑day operations of clients' insurance need and works to support delivery of proper insurance and risk management services for clients.

How you’ll make an impact Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Client Support

Maintains accurate client information to provide day‑to‑day client support and address intermediate‑level client inquiries.

Assists in the development of strong business relationships with appropriate insurance carrier personnel. Recognizes and satisfies carrier goals and objectives to enhance business relationships.

Account Management

Maintains files with proper records according to company procedures. Follows company procedures in order to achieve positive audit results.

Ensures accuracy of account information for both new and renewal policies, endorsements, and audits for accuracy in rating, coverage, signatures, and enters these transactions to generate billing invoices in a timely manner.

Reviews all premium audits according to Agency procedures recognizing that the Agency must process in a timely manner.

Reviews accounts receivable report for all assigned accounts to support client retention.

Insurance Expertise

Leverages technical knowledge to ensure carrier quotes are received in a timely fashion; reviews quotes for gaps and assists with inquiries from the carrier.

Attend training and seek self‑directed learning to continue education in industry and technical knowledge.

Other duties as assigned.

About You Qualifications

2‑5 years of related experience and/or training preferred

Property and Casualty License

Working knowledge of available commercial lines coverages based on business and industry

Proficient in providing client service through electronic, telephone, and in‑person interaction

Problem solving skills; strong written and verbal communication skills

Proficient in use of Agency Management software, or demonstrated skill at quickly learning new systems

Proficient in use of Microsoft Office or similar software, including spreadsheet and presentation software

Compensation and benefits We offer a competitive and comprehensive compensation package. The base salary range represents the anticipated low end and high end of the range for this position. The actual compensation will be influenced by a wide range of factors including, but not limited to previous experience, education, pay market/geography, complexity or scope, specialized skill set, lines of business/practice area, supply/demand, and scheduled hours.
