DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Promptly and professionally respond to resident and employee inquiries
Maintain resident, staff, owner, and vendor relationships
Supervise and train property staff
Prepare and monitor budgets as needed (Building operating expenses, capital budgets, capital expenditures)
Prepare monthly reports, lease summaries and abstracts and gather data
Ensure correct coding of invoices and approve payments
Review all leases
Coordinate collection procedures on delinquent residents
Coordinate resident improvements, move‑ins, and move‑outs
Meet occupancy goals
Market the property according to Fair Housing guidelines and Resident Selection Plan
Oversee and manage all property inspections (Investor, HUD, State Agency, etc.)
Respond to after‑hour emergencies when appropriate (maintenance handles most calls)
Maintain compliance with Affordable Housing Programs
Process move‑ins and re‑certification files to include income and asset verification
Demonstrate and follow the Oakbrook Values
All other duties as assigned
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES
High school diploma or GED required
Supervisory experience
Experience in residential property management or similar
Extraordinary interpersonal and communication skills
Physically able to perform regular inspections of the property, with or without accommodations
Software application experience (MRI, VMS) and computer skills
Must possess a valid driver's license
