Job Summary Acrisure is seeking a Personal Lines Carrier Placement Specialist to join our growing team. This role will be responsible for managing and executing key components of the new business and renewal processes for insurance accounts, including timelines, exposure analysis, quote specifications, negotiation of coverage terms, and presentation of comprehensive proposals to clients. The position requires close collaboration with Client Advisors, Account Service Teams, and carrier partners to ensure high‑quality service delivery and seamless communication.

Responsibilities

Timeline & Process Management: Maintain timing and process during new business and renewal processes, including exposure analysis, quote specifications, coverage offer negotiation, and proposal preparation.

Communication: Effectively communicate within the team environment, including Client Advisors, Account Service Team, and markets.

Policy Review & Recommendations: Review insurance policies and contracts and make recommendations for improvement.

Submission Preparation: Work with others to prepare property and casualty insurance submissions for new business prospects and renewals, including insurance specifications, Acord applications, loss summaries, prospect profiles, and exposure schedules.

Data Analysis: Analyze Excel spreadsheets of prospect exposure and loss data and develop financial models of loss‑sensitive programs when necessary.

Market Relationships: Maintain familiarity and working relationships with various insurance companies and wholesalers.

Confidentiality: Handle confidential and non‑routine information.

Carrier Systems and Comparative Rating Tools: Rate policies in carrier systems to assist in quoting and proposal development.

Licensing Compliance: Abide by and maintain all licensing requirements, including continuing education.

Professional Development: Attend seminars, company meetings, carrier events, and educational activities to improve overall job expertise and product knowledge.

Coverage Analysis & Strategy: Perform coverage gap analysis and deliver strategic coverage recommendations tailored to each client’s risk profile.

Project Work: Work independently and within a team on special and nonrecurring projects.

Risk Resource Engagement: Identify opportunities to engage Risk Resources for specialized expertise and partner with them to deliver tailored solutions for complex client needs.

Education and Experience

3‑5 years relevant insurance experience, with an emphasis on middle to large market placements.

Excellent phone etiquette, written and verbal communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.

Ability to work with minimum supervision and to accept direction on assignments.

Proficient with MS Office Products, placement, and a high knowledge of Excel and Word.

Experience with Epic is a plus.

Strong organizational skills and ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize work.

Demonstrated flexibility and adaptability to changing priorities and deadlines.

Strong attention to detail to ensure document accuracy.

Ability to work effectively in a team environment with strong customer service skills.

Experience with a broker/agent, including marketing large middle market accounts to carriers; excellent knowledge of the markets.

Strong knowledge of all basic applicable insurance coverages.

Proficiency in creating proposal presentation documents as required.

College degree preferred.

Must currently hold an applicable insurance license.

Pursuit of a professional designation—CRM, CISR, CIC, AAI, ARM, CPCU—preferred.

Pay Details The base compensation range for this position is $65,000 – $75,000. This range reflects Acrisure's good faith estimate at the time of this posting and will be adjusted based on skill, experience, qualifications, location, and internal equity.

Candidates should be comfortable with an on‑site presence to support collaboration, team leadership, and cross‑functional partnership.
