Do you love serving customers and providing solutions to meet their needs? As a Retail Sales Team Lead, you will greet and assist customers, maintain merchandise, keep the sales floor clean, promote the Northern Tool credit card program, sell extended service protection plans, and support the management team with day‑to‑day store operations. Northern Tool + Equipment serves tradespeople and weekend warriors, making sure they have the right tools for the job and an easy, hassle‑free experience.
Key Responsibilities
Provide courteous, professional service to best serve the needs of our customers.
Lead customer engagement and sales efforts while actively performing the role of a sales representative.
Maintain a neat and orderly store environment including merchandising, planograms, product displays, and stocking shelves.
Lead by example, taking on additional responsibilities as needed.
Serve as Floor Leader (average 25 % of the time) and open/close the store.
Qualifications
At least 1 year of retail experience.
Ability to lead, guide, and mentor store employees.
Flexible availability and willingness to work some weekends and holidays as needed.
A love of tools & equipment.
Excellent communication skills.
Ability to lift 70 lbs.
Service‑focused mindset.

Competitive pay: $13.40 – $20.25 per hour, personalized based on skills, experience, and location.
