Job Summary
As a Utilities Research Analyst – Associate on the JPMorgan Asset Management Equity Research team you will support a Senior Research Analyst in their efforts to analyze companies and generate positive investment performance. You will be focused on ~30 companies under current coverage. Ideal candidates are self-motivated, intellectually curious, demonstrate analytical aptitude and attention to detail, and have a strong interest in investing.
Job Responsibilities
Conduct a wide variety of research projects to aid in the investment process, including building financial models and industry frameworks as well as company/industry-specific ad hoc projects.
Provide data and analysis to assist in the management of regional and global analyst funds.
Required Qualifications
3 years of relevant industry experience (equity research, investment banking)
3 years of experience covering Utilities
Strong analytical skills, high aptitude for numbers; ability to identify trends through numerical analysis
Intellectual curiosity
Passion for and interest in investing
Preferred Qualifications
Coding experience with VBA is preferred
Location and Compensation New York, NY | $150,000.00 – $224,000.00 / year
