Summary:
Assists General Manager with managing sales and operational activities of assigned location by performing the following duties personally or through subordinates.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Develops and implements strategic sales plans to accommodate corporate goals.
Directs sales forecasting activities and sets performance goals accordingly.
Reviews market analyses to determine customer needs, price schedules, and discount rates. Meets with key clients, assisting sales representatives and maintains relationships, negotiating, and closing deals (Corporate Marketing Agreements). Qualifies new lead accounts using pre-established guidelines.
Advises dealers, distributors, and clients concerning sales and advertising techniques. Monitors and evaluates the activities and products of the competition. Delivers sales presentations to key clients. Uses point of purchase items, trade materials, and special promotional items to communicate our marketing plans. Represents company at trade association meetings to promote product.
Motivates and leads personnel in training efforts established by corporate human resources.
Responsible for following company guidelines assigned to attract a broad range of qualified applicants whom meet our established job criteria.
Analyzes sales statistics through Encompass to assist dealers in promoting sales. Directs channel development activity and coordinates sales distribution by establishing sales territories, quotas, and goals.
Plans and directs sales personnel to ensure that job responsibilities are promptly, efficiently, and effectively carried out according to route schedules, timed stops, scheduled store resets, promotional opportunities, and special events. Must be available to work flexible hours and events on a last‑minute notice, including nights and weekends.
Coordinates liaison between management and other sales related units; accounting; trade; operations; and human resources.
Ensures operations comply with all federal, state and local laws to include but not limited to: DOT regulations, FLSA, EEOC, DOL, OSHA, IRS, and other employment laws applicable to this operation.
Qualifications Qualifications:

Education/Experience:

Computer Skills:
To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge Microsoft Word, Excel, Power Point, Encompass software; Paycom HRIS a plus.
Certificates and Licenses:
Class C Drivers License.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
Manages employees who supervise location employees in the sales department. Is responsible for the overall direction, coordination, and evaluation of these units. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization’s policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.
