Mobile Associate, Store-in-Store | Retail Sales
Join T‑Mobile as a Mobile Associate in a store‑in‑store location, helping customers discover and purchase our wireless solutions.
Job Overview Mobile Associates are integral to the Retail Team, bringing the T‑Mobile brand to life within national sales partner locations. They create energy and excitement, build and deepen customer relationships, and excel at meeting performance targets while delivering exceptional customer experiences.
Job Responsibilities
Proactively engage with a broad range of customers in a high‑traffic retail environment, using digital tools to educate and showcase T‑Mobile solutions.
Leverage digital self‑serve tools during interactions, identify customer needs, and use solution‑based selling techniques to demonstrate product value and drive sales.
Complete training on the in‑store experience, new products, processes, and systems; stay current on promotions and Hub updates to be Customer Ready at all times.
Build rapport and trust with customers, follow up, capture referrals, manage Be‑Back processes, and perform price overrides for specialty offers.
Collaborate with nearby store locations, management, and teams to support the customer experience from account set‑up through device support and servicing.
Education and Work Experience
High School Diploma or GED (Required)
Minimum 6 months of customer service and/or sales experience, preferably in a retail environment.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Passionate customer advocate with a strong desire to connect authentically and have fun while serving customers.
Team player who works with peers and leadership to share best practices and resolve issues.
Competitive drive and confidence to succeed in a fast‑paced sales environment.
Licenses and Certifications
Must be at least 18 years of age.
Legally authorized to work in the United States.
Travel No travel required.
DOT Regulated No.
Safety Sensitive Position No.
Pay Hourly Base Pay: $19.00, plus $5.00 per hour training pay.
Within the first 90 days, Mobile Associates receive on‑the‑job training and training pay. After completion, promotion to Mobile Expert provides eligibility for an annual incentive target of $18,000 per year. All employees are guaranteed to earn a minimum of $20.00 per hour including base and incentives.
