Summary Monitors Digital Account Opening platform for incoming member applications. Detects processing issues with applications, contacting members directly and initiating correspondence via varying channels to obtain missing data. Ensures a timely resolution and completion of all outstanding applications.
Qualifications & Education
High school education or GED required; associate’s degree preferred.
Minimum one year banking experience required.
College level business related courses or the equivalent preferred.
Essential Skills
Strong oral and written communication skills.
Problem‑solving skills.
Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word.
System knowledge and experience in DNA preferred.
Job Duties
Review incoming applications from the Digital Account Opening platform to ensure completeness and documented uploads; follow up on outstanding applications in a timely manner.
Approve or decline applications based on standard operating procedures, direction, and service‑level expectations.
Monitor all aspects of the Digital Account Opening platform, performing needed queue maintenance throughout the day and adjusting assignments as required.
Examine OFAC failures in accordance with Teachers FCU policy and initiate actions based on stated procedures; solicit review and advice from internal partners such as the Compliance department when necessary.
Respond quickly, accurately, and courteously to telephone calls and emails from members and Teachers FCU employees; provide interdepartmental support as needed.
Establish accounts (e.g., checking, savings, holiday and vacation clubs) in the operating system when required.
Enhance and deepen member relationships by providing expert financial solutions that enable members to achieve their financial goals.
Perform other duties as requested by the immediate supervisor.
