As a Senior Services Account Manager, you will join Trane’s best-in-class Commercial HVAC team. This is an exciting opportunity to make a difference in building efficiency and sustainability through our Service offerings. In this role, you are primarily responsible for delivering on our business strategy by developing long‑term customer relationships with building owners and strengthening our existing customer base with a focus on providing customers a total solution for the most energy efficient buildings.

Responsibilities

Lead customer conversations with business level insights to establish value and create demand. Actively listen to identify concerns.

Act as a facilitator to help the customer buy, including developing a project business case, financial proforma, and validating business outcomes. Gather and validate preliminary information, perform facility walkthroughs, construction plan review or other requirements.

Manage complaints, resolve conflicts, and negotiate solutions to reconcile differences while maintaining positive relationships.

Conduct consultative selling, building trust and offering solutions that provide value and meet client needs. Pursue new business and grow existing account relationships.

Proactively assess situations and take action without direction, anticipating future problems, needs, or opportunities.

Gather and analyze information for industry and market insight, identify opportunities and threats, and qualify opportunities early in the buying and selling process.

Prioritize, organize and accomplish work by developing specific goals and plans.

Identify complex problems and evaluate related information to develop and implement solutions.

Collaborate with sales teams to understand customer requirements, promote sales of company products, and provide sales support.

Qualifications

5+ years of demonstrated experience or Bachelor’s Degree in Arts/Sciences (BA/BS).

5+ years of solution sales experience with a track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets.

A desire to understand our business and passion to connect current and potential customers with service offerings designed to create efficient and sustainable buildings.

Ability to engage multiple stakeholders, influencers, and key decision makers.

Demonstrated ability to generate and qualify leads, facilitate customer conversations to establish value and demand, close new business and grow existing account relationships.

Strong financial and business acumen and self‑starter mindset.

Available for local travel.

Valid driver’s license for a minimum of 12 months with no major or frequent traffic violations.

Compensation $75,000 – $120,000 per year, plus commission. Base pay range is based on US national averages. Actual base pay could vary by seniority, merit, and location.
