Summary – Outside Salesperson – Paper/Packaging
Outside Salesperson is responsible for the sales of the company's products and services. Ensures consistent, profitable growth in sales revenues through strategic planning. Identifies objectives and action plans to improve short- and long-term sales and earnings. Develops specific plans to ensure revenue growth in all company's products.
Responsibilities
Accurately forecast annual, quarterly, and monthly revenue streams.
Achieve monthly and annual budgets.
Utilizes proven and creative sales techniques to exceed goals and objectives.
Works to establish add-on business with existing customers.
Works to build long term relationships with customer base.
Achieves monthly and annual budgets.
Maintains up-to-date knowledge base of entire product line.
Provide accurate price quotes in a timely manner to customers.
Coordinates proper company resources to ensure efficient and stable sales results.
Supports CRM system (sales leads, prospective business, new business activity, add-on business activity, forecasting, quota details, etc.).
Attends industry and product related training programs, conferences, seminars and educational forums.
Adheres to company safety policies and procedures.
Job Requirements
Experience: 5 years transferable work related experience in outside sales.
Computer experience, including proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, and Internet Explorer
Proven analytical and abstract reasoning skills.
Driver’s License Required.
Effective and excellent oral and written communication skills.
Professional demeanor both on the phone and in person.
Ability to remain organized while handling multiple projects/tasks.
Positive, high energy and enthusiastic with an eagerness to learn and grow.
Results-driven with documented success in exceeding sales goals & objectives.
Detail oriented, methodical, excellent follow-up and good listening skills.
Ability to work in a team-selling environment.
Proficiency in basic computer applications.
High level of honesty and integrity.
Effective problem-solving skills.
Excellent general ‘people skills’ in dealing with external and internal contacts.
Salary Range 50k base plus commission
