Role Description This is a full-time hybrid role for a Benefits Consultant based in Lacey, WA, with flexibility for some remote work. The Benefits Consultant will assist businesses in designing and implementing Aflac's employee-paid insurance benefits. Responsibilities include consulting with clients to evaluate their needs, providing expert advice on benefits administration, and ensuring seamless delivery of employee benefits programs. The role also involves handling client inquiries and maintaining excellent customer service standards.
Qualifications
Strong knowledge of Benefits Administration and Employee Benefits
Demonstrated experience in consulting, with expertise in assessing and advising on client needs
Proficiency in insurance-related processes and policies
Exceptional customer service skills with a focus on effective communication and building client relationships
Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a hybrid work environment
Exceptional organizational and problem-solving skills
Previous experience in a similar role or industry is preferred
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Human Resources, or related field is a plus
