Who You'll Work With The Strategic Sales & Service department is a critical function within our organization that is responsible for the sales and servicing of AllianceBernstein’s mutual funds and separately managed account products. We partner directly with an external sales force in our U.S. Retail distribution channel to promote proprietary investment services, understand client needs, develop sales ideas, offer outcome‑oriented solutions, and support sound business practices.
What You'll Do We are looking for a Regional Sales Associate for our Strategic Service & Sales group. Your role will support firm sales initiatives, manage territory, generate and analyze reports, and prospect new opportunities. Over time, this position prepares you for future roles such as Regional Consultant or other opportunities across the Client Group and beyond.
Specific Responsibilities
Understand our firm’s mission, values, and product offerings in the U.S. retail market.
Collaborate with internal and external wholesalers to develop processes that support the team.
Make prospecting calls to clients to generate new leads for the sales team.
Conduct competitive analysis to provide data that helps clients monitor and adjust investments.
Assist in managing territories to keep them organized.
Participate in formal training and on‑the‑job learning covering capital markets, AB products, services, procedures, policies, and consultative selling skills.
What We're Looking For
Bachelor’s degree (Finance, Economics, Marketing preferred) with strong academics and leadership experience.
Financial industry experience preferred; relevant internship experience with demonstrated achievement also acceptable.
Client’focused, detail‐oriented, able to multitask and work under pressure in a fast‐paced environment.
Self‐starter with strong analytical skills and interest in mastering all aspects of retail investment management and capital markets.
Comfortable working independently while collaborating as part of a team.
Successful completion of Security Industry Essentials (SIE), Series 7, and Series 63 licensing exams within the first six months of employment.
