Key Responsibilities
Frequent travel to customers, both existing and new accounts, related to the various industries (OEM, rebuilders, end users, and resellers) in the Northeast, Mid-West and Canadian markets
Manage key contact information within SalesForce including cases, non-disclosures, documents, specifications blueprints (full kit) as well as creation of opportunities and quoting when required by the business.
Identify and attend trade shows across United States.
Recommend sales strategies for improvement based on market research, product analysis, and competitor analyses
Create, present, and collaborate on verbal and written presentations to customers and executives
Provide customer tours throughout Ellwood when necessary.
Abide by all policies and procedures established by the Company
Perform other duties as deemed necessary
Education & Experience Requirements
Bachelor's degree, preferred majors: Business or Engineering. (In lieu of Bachelor's degree, suitable industrial or sales experience may also be considered.) and Master's degree in business administration or Engineering.
Minimum 15 years prior industrial sales/marketing experience required (oil & gas related forging or heavy metal sales experience preferred)
Minimum 15 years prior supervisory experience preferred
Strong verbal and written communications skills
Reason logically with ability to understand cause/effect
Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to assess Customer's need for Reliability.
Strong personal computer skills, including word processing, spreadsheet software and Power Point
Detail oriented with the ability to prioritize multiple projects
Good organizational skills, interpersonal skills and presentation skills
Must be self-directed, motivated and results oriented, with a strong desire to succeed
Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
Ability to travel -primarily domestic with the potential for some international
Valid Drivers License
