Elder Care Provider Wanted - Searching For Experienced Pt Elder Caregiver In Sou

PLEASE READ BEFORE RESPONDING TO POST We are a family in South San Francisco seeking a compassionate and dedicated elder care provider to assist caring for our 85yo mother. She currently cannot walk and we use a Hoyer lift to move her from room to room, so experience using a lift is helpful but not required. She uses the commode for bathroom needs, which she needs help with. Our mother sometimes has trouble with speaking because of her current condition, but can almost always answer direct questions. This caregiver may be responsible for giving her medications, preparing small meals, changing her clothes on occasion and keeping her clean and groomed. We are currently looking for someone who can work evenings (5p-10p), and or/someone who would like to work 2-3 overnight shifts per week (9p-7a). Overnight responsibilities include: helping my mom with some light stretching/shoulder and arm massages before bed, helping her brush her teeth and using the bathroom before taking her to bed. She has a lot of trouble sleeping so being awake and alert throughout the night to offer her verbal support and comfort is necessary. Giving AM medications, taking her blood glucose, and if needed, moving her to the living room. 5p-10p responsibilities include preparing dinner for my mom and feeding her. Helping stretch/massage arms/hands/feet/legs, give night time medication, brush teeth, and take to bed. And overall, offer her company and comfort during your time there. We offer an hourly wage of $22, reflecting the importance we place on finding the right person who is experienced, caring, and reliable.
