SUMMARY
The DMV Servicing Specialist serves as the subject matter expert for all DMV-related items. The position is an administrative support function that will be tasked with processing DMV documentation and titling services for consumer lending and branch operations.

Education and/or Experience:
High school diploma or equivalent; 3-5 years working in a DMV back‑office position within a financial services institution is preferred
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations:
Notary certification, preferred
Geographical Location:
This position may be eligible for a flexible work arrangement. Individuals working in this position must be located within the state of California.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Provide direct day-to-day administrative support to the Servicing Manager.
Reconcile DMV transmittals and general ledger accounts.
Perfect DMV titles.
Maintain DMV group e‑mail box and reports.
Serve as point of contact for front office and lending staff regarding DMV questions.
Coordinate GAP and Debt Protection claims.
Process collateral protection insurance (CPI).
Audit of Indirect Loan Fundings.
Participate in cross‑functional and department projects as necessary.
Other duties as assigned.
Compliance with the Bank Secrecy Act, OFAC, and USA PATRIOT Act, including but not limited to completing Member Identification Program requirements, customer due diligence, identifying high‑risk accounts, and reporting suspicious activities to supervisor and BSA Officer.

Service professional with strong verbal and written communication skills, with demonstrated ability to communicate professionally at all levels.
Effective interpersonal skills and ability to work with all levels of staff and members in a professional, approachable, and positive manner.
Ability to handle simultaneously multiple tasks and changing priorities in an efficient and effective manner.
Broad knowledge of, and practical experience with DMV lending operations functions, products, and services, and the laws and regulations that affect the Credit Union.
Detail‑oriented, self‑starter who is able to work independently.
Maintains thorough and current knowledge of relevant federal, state, and local regulations as well as internal policies, procedures, products, and services.
Computer literate and proficient in software applications, financial analysis programs, Adobe Acrobat, online research tools, and MS Office: Word, Excel, and Outlook.
Ability to demonstrate commitment to self‑improvement by taking the initiative of learning new skills, systems, and procedures, as well as taking advantage of the continuous education opportunities within and outside of the Credit Union.
