Volt is immediately hiring CNC Milling Machinist as Franklin, WI Roles & Responsibilities of CNC Milling Machinist as Franklin, WI: Retrieve CNC programs and load to the machine Setup, load, and operate CNC machines to produce parts per prints Edit in G-code and manually program using Mazatrol Control Setup fixturing and come up with your own set ups on machine Perform first piece and in-process quality inspections Setup cutters in holders and adjust height and length Read drawings/prints to identify operations, specification, and tolerances Meet precise tolerances and finishing requirements Use various hand tools to finish parts and check Use measuring devices like micrometers and calipers to ensure specifications are met Perform operator maintenance tasks like oiling, greasing, and cleaning the machine (5S) Use forklift or crane to store and retrieve fixturing and other essential equipment Operate other machines in the department as needed This is a Full-time direct hire role. What We're Looking For: High school diploma required. Advanced education or apprenticeship preferred. 5 years of CNC mill set-up and programming experience required. Mazak experience preferred. Strong skills in editing G-code and manual programming in Mazatrol preferred. Strong math skills and the ability to work from detailed and involved part drawings and specifications to perform operations to the capacity of the machine and controls are also essential. Willingness to move between work centers. Pay Range: $36 - $41/hr.
